How to add page numbers to a PDF
Project reports, theses and legal files often need numbered pages. You can add them to any PDF without editing the original document.
Open the tool: Page numbers →Step by step
- Open Panna's Page numbers tool and select your PDF.
- Pick a position in the 3 × 3 grid, for example bottom centre.
- Choose a format: 1, Page 1, 1 / 10 or Page 1 of 10.
- Tick Skip the first page if the first page is a cover.
- Click Add page numbers and download the file.
Tips
- When you skip the cover, the second page gets your First number, so the cover stays unnumbered.
- Use 10–12 pt for normal documents.
